Business 100 Club

Hereford River Carnival is a charity (part of the Plynlimon Trust) run entirely by volunteers and although we actively and successfully seek funding from groups like Children in Need, the Arts Council and Heritage Lottery Fund and get local support from groups like the City Council, we need funds to make the Carnival happen.

Particularly we need funds to fulfil one of our main aims and ensure that the Carnival is open to everyone.

This is where you come in.  We realise that some smaller businesses would like to make a contribution to make the River Carnival happen but cannot afford large sponsorship packages.  That’s why we’ve created the Hereford River Carnival Business 100 Club for those businesses that want to support us in some way.

Partnership

Hereford River Carnival is an event organised by the people of Hereford for the people of Hereford.

Since it was successfully reintroduced in 2014, the number of groups and organisations who get involved continues to grow and grow.

We are always interested in hearing from new potential partners who have ideas and contributions that will add to the fun.

Sponsorship

We have a growing range of local businesses supporting the Carnival each year and benefitting from the positive association with the event and the large numbers flooding into Hereford on a Friday evening (3,000 in 2017) and Saturday (15,000 if 2017).

We’d love more local businesses to get involved and there is a wide range of opportunities for you to do so.

2018 promises to be even better with more stalls, more acts, more events and the second part of our three-year street performance, Mappa Mundi: Out of the Museum and onto the Streets.

Contact Stuart Fox (stuart@rivercarnival.org)   or Jo Henshaw (jo@rivercarnival.org) for more information.

Book a stall

No Carnival would be complete with a range of stalls selling food, drink, local produce and crafts.

Pitches on Bishop’s Meadow and Castle Green are reasonably priced, please contact Leo Caithness for further information (leo@rivercarnival.org)
