The Nozstock Stage, Castle Green



The amazing, energetic, award-winning festival team at Herefordshire’s very own Nozstock are once again hosting the main stage on Castle Green and it promises to be a real celebration.

This year’s Nozstock, The Hidden Valley Festival will take place on 20 – 22 July and it’s the 20th anniversary of Hereford’s sonic escape with its nine stages of entertainment, surprising sights and intimate, secluded areas of theatre and discovery ready to be unearthed.

Plus we have DJ Rob Williams spinning some groovy sounds to get you moving

To give us a taster of what’s to come in the summer at  the main Nozstock, The Hidden Valley festival, we’ve lined up some of the fantastic acts to perform at this year’s River Carnival so come along and see for yourself for free.  Confirmed acts include:

The Stiff Joints –  an 11-piece ‘Ska Army’ from the West Midlands bringing an an infectious brand of two-tone ska that makes it impossible to sit still to.

Blending Afro/Latin, Ska, Hip Hop, Funk & Rock sounds,
7Suns are a multi cultural outfit based in London making
universal music for universal people. 


Capas aka Phil Wilkins is a Worcestershire based, multi instrumentalist composer and producer using electronic and live recordings to create big cinematic sounds. Capas joins forces withImage may contain: 2 people, people on stage, night and indoor drummer Daren Wood and guitarist Olly Irwin creating a super tight unit working in many forms from electronica, jazz, dub, afro and trip-hop.  Capas’ style is diverse and flexible with solid grooves to get your feet moving and haunting melodies to captivate your soul.

Teddy Matthews
Kidderminster based Teddy Matthews started to turn heads last year with a couple of his releases getting airplay on BBC Introducing and 6 Music. Teddy and his five-piece band have performed at a number of festivals, while Teddy takes in solo acoustic sets along the way.

Bringing their upbeat mix of worldly rhythms, including African, Latin and Caribbean, Drumlove are professional players, teachers and makers of drums from all across the globe.  ‘Promoting unity through rhythm since 1996’.


Kringo Blue
Worcestershire based Kris Rolfe brings his original mix of acoustic soul with blues influences. 
His powerful yet distinctly smooth voice, melodic choruses and articulate rhythmical guitar blends with well thought out lyrics to provide a varied and soulful performance.
